During my recent business trip to Piran, my director chose Hostel Piran as our accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique experience of arriving at the hostel by boat. The view of the water as we approached was breathtaking. The location of the hostel also impressed me, being just a short walk away from the charming streets and attractions of Piran.
The fan in my bedroom did not work, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

I stayed at Database pros for one night in Piran. The bunk bed in the room was comfortable for three guests. The centrally located hostel had a clean shared bathroom. The owner was responsive and helpful, even meeting us at the port. The staff were friendly and answered all our questions. The private balcony on the top floor was superb for relaxing. good value for money if you don't mind sharing a bathroom.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The host was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed during our romantic escape. The bathrooms were kept clean and the communication was quick and efficient. The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the bus station and the main square, making it convenient to explore the city. the proximity to various amenities and attractions was another advantage we enjoyed during our stay.
The attic room was extremely small and cramped, making it uncomfortable to move around. The photos on the website did not accurately represent the room, as the view was of a brick wall instead of a city view.

I loved the friendly and flexible staff at Hostel Pirano. the owner, Ivana, was especially sweet and went above and beyond to help us with our issues from a previous hostel. the shared bathrooms were clean and modern, and the location was quiet and conveniently located near the main bus station and supermarkets. the private balcony on the top floor was a wonderful addition, allowing me to enjoy the summer weather while staying comfortable with the open doors and windows and a fan. the hostel provided a great experience for adults looking to explore the area and be in touch with nature.
Felt quite safe, nothing to complain about.

We had a blast snorkeling and diving with the awesome instructors and divemasters in Portorož and Piran. They gave us helpful tips and suggestions, making our first step in snorkeling super exciting. We even got certified as PADI Seals, which is like the highest rank in the recreational diving path. It was an unforgettable adventure where we learned so many new things!
The only thing we wished for was a better party scene for young people. While the hostel had a great location and friendly staff, it would have been even more fun if there were more activities and events aimed specifically at young party-going people like us.
